Perdido Key

A custom waterfront home on Perdido Key with direct bay exposure. The site required elevated construction to meet flood zone requirements, with the structural engineering for wind uplift and lateral loads designed in from the first foundation drawing rather than added on after the fact.

Florida's building code on the Perdido Key side of the state line carries its own permitting requirements, and coordinating across the Alabama-Florida line added a layer of scheduling complexity to the build. We managed that from the start, alongside the site work and coastal access challenges the lot presented, and delivered a finished home that holds up to what the water and the weather here actually produce.
